Online registration for Rockridge Soccer Club players, teams, coaches, referees and special clinics is handled by Sportability, an independent league management service that provides secure credit card payment processing over the Internet. Registration normally occurs in the spring or early summer for the following fall season. Scholarships

To make soccer accessible to all families in our area, RSC offers two levels of need-based scholarships. Scholarship requests should be directed to your team's coach or to the RSC registrar, e-mail registrar@rockridgesoccer.org. 

Age Requirements

The following age requirements apply for the 2010-2011 season:

U19                      8/1/1991 to 7/31/1994

*If your child will begin 1st grade in the fall but will turn 6 after 7/31/2010, please contact the registrar at elswest@yahoo.com for registration instructions.

Playing Up and Age Division

Players can request to play up an age division. Those requests will be considered as long as her/her coach is willing to state that that it is appropriate given the player's skills and maturity. A player requesting to play up an age division can be placed on a team if the player registered on time and:

• The coach supports having the player play up and feel it's appropriate for the child socially and given his/her skill level
• There is room on the team
• This placement does not displace another child who should be in the age division based upon their birth date

Parents should include a brief comment in their online registration form indicating that they are requesting that their child play up an age division. Coaches should separately send a note to the Age Group Coordinator listing the players from their fall roster who are requesting to play up, and indicate that it would be appropriate given the child's skill level and maturity for that child to play up.

Playing Down and Age Division

To play down an age group. You must petition the Rockridge Soccer Club President.  Petitions should be emailed to president@rockridgesoccer.org and must include a letter from a pediatric or a developmental physician stating that your child is unable to physically and/or mentally participate in their correct age group. 

Only petitions with medical reasons will be considered. You may not petition to play down based upon grade in school, proximity to date of age group cutoff, or for reasons of playing with friends or a particular coach.
