Rockridge Soccer Club is committed to a culture of positive coaching, an environment where children can thrive physically and emotionally while learning to play soccer. Our club is a place where:
- Players play
- Coaches coach
- Parents cheer
- Referees are human
This philosophy has been developed and promoted by the Positive Coaching Alliance, a national nonprofit youth sports organization founded in 1998 within the Stanford University Athletic Department. In partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance, the Rockridge Soccer Club requires a representative from all player families to attend a PCA workshop the first year their player participates in the Rockridge Club.
